Captain Cook Surprise

Posted in : All, Miscellaneous, Vegetable on by : Heather

As y’all may know by now, I’m a Dallas transplant from Hawaii. Who doesn’t love a little Hawaii added into their day? So come, take an ocean voyage with me on a British research ship back in time to 1778. Who’s that we see at the bow, none other than Captain Cook, the first European Explorer to discover Hawaii. Huh, his crew is eating THAT vegetable to fight off scurvy? Who knew that was high in Vitamin C? Today’s video is not to be missed. Even if you aren’t a usual fan of this veggie, I dare you to try this Asian infused recipe and still not like it.
